Hero catering means the long sandwiches
Hero catering at Brooklyn's Finest Pizza is the sandwich list scaled up, not a vague platter. The order site lists Italian style, American style, chicken cutlet, and fried eggplant heroes for a group. Each description says a 3-foot serves 10 people and a 6-foot serves 20 people. That serving note is the one we will repeat. We do not publish a different guest count.
The shop is at 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10305. These are pickup orders, or delivery if the address is inside 4 miles and checkout accepts it. Single heroes on the regular menu are a different size and a different price. A chicken parm hero at $13.99 is one sandwich. It is not a 3-foot.
What each hero is, and the price shown
Italian style hero catering is ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. The order page lists it at $49.97, with a 6-foot choice marked +$47.97 and a 3-foot choice on the item. American style is roast beef, turkey, ham, and American cheese, listed at $49.97 with the same kind of 6-foot add-on. Fried eggplant hero catering is fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers, also listed at $49.97 with a 6-foot add-on. Chicken cutlet hero catering is fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers or parmigiana, listed at $55.97, with a 6-foot choice marked +$53.97.
Read the cart. The first price is what the item page shows before you pick the larger size. The plus amount is the add-on the page prints for the 6-foot, not a second hero. If you need the out-the-door total, the cart is the number. Do not add those figures in your head and skip the screen. Dipping sauces on the same page are extra and are marked with their own small prices.
What to add, and what not to assume
A hero feed often needs pies, a pasta tray, or knots so the table is not only bread and cold cuts. Baked ziti catering and chicken parm catering are the hot trays. The catering page is the full list. The catering special on the specials page is a different bundle. Order a special as printed. Do not put a coupon on it.
There is no printed note that these heroes can be made gluten-free. Ask (718) 815-7070 before you promise a guest a gluten-free hero. The kitchen handles wheat. A menu line for gluten-free pasta does not automatically cover a 3-foot sandwich.
How to order the heroes
Call with the size, the time, and the address if you hope for delivery. Start at Order Online, which is order.brooklynsfinestsi.com, or call (718) 815-7070 during posted hours. On an iPhone or iPad, the Brooklyn's Finest app sends the same kind of order. Hours end at 10:00 PM, or 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. A party pickup should not be scheduled for after close.
Hero catering is the practical sandwich order from 1250 Hylan Boulevard when you already know you want Italian, American, chicken cutlet, or eggplant. For a birthday in the dining room, use parties and say whether the food is heroes, pies, or trays. The hero sandwiches page is the single-sandwich version if the crowd got smaller.
Pick the length from the head count in the description, not from a guess. Ten people is the 3-foot note. Twenty people is the 6-foot note. A mixed crowd that wants both Italian and chicken cutlet can order one of each instead of forcing one hero to cover every taste. Tell the shop the pickup time, and leave a few minutes for Hylan traffic if you are collecting them yourself. The party venues page is the room question if the heroes are only half of the plan.
