Hot honey is a condiment, and a pie name
Hot honey pizza usually means a pie finished with honey that has been spiked with chili. The sweet and the heat sit on cheese, often with pepperoni, because the fat and the salt give the honey something to stick to. Cups of pepperoni, a drizzle at the end, and a chili flake are all versions people cook at home. Shops differ. The bottle on the table is not the same as the pie on the menu.
Our named pie is the Hot Honey Roni. It is a large, 8 slices, $21.99. The menu line gives the size and does not add a longer topping sentence. Roni, in a pizzeria, means pepperoni. We will not invent a honey brand, a pepperoni count, or a drizzle pattern the menu does not print. If you need the build in more detail, ask (718) 815-7070. Order the name if the name is what you wanted.
Hot honey shows up on other items
The hot honey section is not only the pie. The menu lists a hot fried calamari special, hot honey mozzarella sticks, a hot honey wrap with turkey, cheddar, and onion rings, a hot honey bacon burger, hot honey wings, hot honey fries, and hot honey chicken tenders. There is also a Mike's Hot Honey dip cup. Those are separate items. Order the one whose name matches the food. Do not assume the dip cup comes on the pizza.
Wings in the weekend special can be buffalo, BBQ, plain, or hot honey. That is a tray choice on the flyer, not the Hot Honey Roni. Read the specials page for the bundle price. Order the pie from the pizza list if you want the pie. Do not add a coupon to a special.
A home drizzle is not our pie
At home, people bake a pepperoni pie and drizzle hot honey after it comes out, so the honey stays loose. Chili flakes go on at the end. Too much honey makes a wet center. That is home advice. It is not our $21.99 pie written backward. If you wanted the shop pie, skip the bottle and order the Hot Honey Roni.
The photo on this page is a chicken bacon ranch slice, which is a different specialty pie: chicken, bacon, ranch, and tomatoes. It is not the hot honey pie. We are using a real photo from the shop, and we are not going to caption it as honey. The ranch pie is $23.99 if that is the one the picture made you want. The honey pie is the other name.
Order it by the name
Order at Order Online, which is order.brooklynsfinestsi.com, or call (718) 815-7070. On an iPhone or iPad, the app sends the same menu. The address is 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10305. Hours run until 10:00 PM, and until 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. A large is 8 slices, so a split table can add a plain cheese pie beside it. Delivery is inside 4 miles. The dining room is open if you want the slice hot.
Hot honey pizza here is the Hot Honey Roni, $21.99, 8 slices, plus a list of other hot honey snacks that are not pizzas. Say the full name. Add the dip cup only if you want a cup. The menu keeps them in their own section so the names stay straight. Heat is the point. If someone at the table does not want heat, order them a different large. The honey does not become mild because the rest of the table asked.
A split order is normal: one Hot Honey Roni and one plain cheese, both larges, both 8 slices. The plain pie is $19.49. The honey pie is $21.99. Those are different prices for different pies, not a topping fee you can guess. Wings tossed in hot honey are the snack if you want the flavor without committing a whole pie. Fries and tenders in that section are the same idea. Read the item. The dip cup is Mike's Hot Honey, named on the menu, and it is a cup, not a pie. Add it when someone wants extra heat on the side. Do not assume it is already on the slice.
Eat the honey pie soon. A drizzle, if the kitchen uses one, sets up as the slice cools, and the photo on this page is not even that pie. Come in if you want to see what you ordered. Pickup works if the ride is short. Delivery inside 4 miles is fine when checkout says yes. Ask the counter how hot today's pie is if you are ordering for someone who handles mild heat and not much more. We would rather answer that on the phone than send a pie nobody finishes. The name is the order. The rest of the hot honey list is there when the pie is the wrong shape for the snack you wanted. Wings, fries, tenders, and a dip cup are the other ways to get the heat. The pie is the way to get it on dough, eight slices, $21.99. Add a plain pie for anyone who wants out. Ask how hot it is if that matters. Then order the name, not a homemade drizzle you hoped we would copy from a video.
