A neighborhood dinner, not a scene
Date night Staten Island can mean a white-tablecloth room, a waterfront, or a pizzeria where you can hear each other. Brooklyn's Finest Pizza is the third kind. The dining room is at 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10305, and it has been there since 2012. You walk in during posted hours. We do not take reservations for a regular table, and we do not sell a date-night package, a prix fixe, or a candle on the house.
If the night needs a held table for more than two, that is the parties page, and it is a phone call about the date and the head count. A couple does not need that call. A couple needs the menu and the hours. The close is 10:00 PM most nights and 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, so a late reservation somewhere else is a different plan.
What to order for two
A large cheese pie is 8 slices at $19.49, which is more than two people finish if it is the only food. Split a specialty large pie instead, or pair a pie with a plate. Entrées are served with a salad or pasta. Chicken francese is $19.99. Chicken parmigiana is $18.99. The dinner specials, with potato croquettes and brick-oven bread, are named on the dinner page. One person can order a hero if they would rather have a sandwich than a slice.
Drinks stay on the drinks page: soda, coffee, an egg cream, a Manhattan Special. There is no wine list and no cocktail list on this site. Dessert can be a cannoli, zeppole, or a fried Oreo. None of that is a romantic menu we invented. It is the pizzeria menu, eaten sitting down. The dine-in page is the same room without the date frame.
If one of you needs a different plate
Gluten-free pasta and a personal gluten-free cheese pizza are on the menu. Cauliflower crust is available, including with soy cheese. Say so when you order. Call (718) 815-7070 if an allergy is the reason, because the kitchen is not a sealed room. A date is a bad time to discover that at the table.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM. The location page has the map. Keep the plan small
Date night Staten Island does not have to be a production. A pie, two plates, or a hero and a salad at 1250 Hylan Boulevard is a complete version of it. If you wanted a bar, this is the wrong result. The sports bar page says we do not list one. If you wanted food after 10:30, the late night page says we are closed.
Come during the hours, sit in the dining room, and order from the menu you can read first. That is the date this shop can host. No ranking of other Staten Island nights out belongs on this page.
If you are marking a birthday for two, say so at the counter. We do not publish a dessert candle policy, so ask instead of assuming. A pie can be the whole meal or the thing you add after the plates. Either way the kitchen is the same one that makes heroes and pasta on a Tuesday. The family restaurant page covers a bigger table if the date turns into a family night.
