Food first
Birthday party food ideas usually collapse into two problems: what will people actually eat, and how much of it. Brooklyn's Finest Pizza can answer both with the menu we already print. We are not a party planner, and this post is not the venue guide. The birthday places post is about the room versus the house. Stay here for the food.
Pizza is the center because a large is 8 slices and people know what to do with a slice. Heroes matter because adults get tired of crust. A pasta tray matters when you would rather set down a pan than a stack of boxes. Knots and wings are what people eat while they wait. Kid-friendly plates are on the menu. None of this is a printed birthday package with a per-child price. Build the ticket from the items.
A simple spread
Count the guests. Give the pizza eaters two or three slices. Our large is 8 slices, so the 20-person post is the math if the party is that size. A smaller party is the same division. Order one plain cheese large and one pie with a topping the kids already like, instead of one pie nobody agrees on. A cheese slice at the shop is $2.99. A whole large cheese pie is $19.49. Use the whole pies for a party.
Add heroes if the adults want sandwiches. Chicken parm, meatball, and the neighborhood list are on the menu. For a long sandwich that feeds more than one person, the hero catering page has 3-foot and 6-foot heroes. A 3-foot serves 10. A 6-foot serves 20. That can replace a pile of individual heroes. Garlic knots are $3.99 a regular order. A party that wants knots everywhere should say a number, or look at the catering special that already includes 18.
Trays, cake, and what we do not bring
A half tray serves 6–9 and a full tray serves 10–15. Baked ziti and chicken parm are the trays people know. See catering. If the birthday is at a house, trays plus pies are the meal. If the birthday is in our dining room, call (718) 815-7070 with the date and the head count. The parties page is that call. We do not publish a capacity, a cake policy, or balloons. Ask. Do not print a number from this post on an invitation.
We do not sell a birthday cake. Dessert on the menu is cannoli, zeppole, fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, and Juniors cheesecake. Bring a cake from somewhere else if the candle is the point, and ask the shop first if the party is in the dining room. Allergies belong in the same phone call. Gluten-free pizza is a personal pie, not a large. Knots are wheat. Say so before the party, not when the guest is at the table.
Order it like a head count
Order at Order Online, which is order.brooklynsfinestsi.com, or call (718) 815-7070. On an iPhone or iPad, the app sends the same menu. One name on the pickup. The shop is open until 10:00 PM, and until 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. Delivery inside 4 miles has to clear checkout before you tell guests a driver is coming. A house outside the radius is a pickup. Do not add a coupon to a printed special if you use one of the flyers on the specials page.
Birthday party food ideas from this kitchen are pies, heroes, trays, and a couple of sides. The venue, if you want our room, is a phone call. The food, if the party is already somewhere else, is the same kitchen in boxes. Write the date, the time, and the count. Then order the food that matches that count, with one extra pie if you know the group. Leftovers reheat. A short table does not. The address, if anyone is coming here, is 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10305. Write the guest count before you fall in love with a menu. Two slices each is a start. Three is a pizza-only party. Heroes and a tray mean you can order fewer pies. One plain large, one pie the kids already like, knots, and a way to handle the person who does not eat cheese. Say gluten-free if you need the personal pie. Ask about the dining room before you put the address on an invitation. Bring the cake from somewhere else unless the shop tells you otherwise. One name on the pickup. A time before we close. That is a birthday the food can survive. The decorations are your job. The pies are ours, once you have counted them. Leftover slices reheat in a hot oven the next day. A missing pie does not. Order the extra if you know this family. Then stop. A birthday is not a reason to buy a tray for every person in the group chat. One plain pie, one pie the kids like, knots, and a time before close will carry most birthdays. Call if they are coming here. Pick up if they are not.
