Food for the game, not a watch party

Super Bowl party food

What to order for a crowd, and the closing time that does not move for kickoff.

· Brooklyn's Finest

The food is the part we can do

Super Bowl party food is a volume problem. People eat in waves, they want food they can grab, and they do not want the host stuck in the kitchen. Pizza, wings, and something salty solve it. Brooklyn's Finest Pizza can cook that food. We cannot host the game. The site does not list televisions, beer, or a bar. The sports bar page says that on purpose. Watch the game at home. Get the food from the shop.

The kitchen closes at 10:00 PM, and at 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. A night game runs later than that. Order so the food is in the house before we close, not at halftime if halftime is after the door is locked. Call (718) 815-7070 the day of the game if you need a pickup time. Do not assume a driver is available at the two-minute warning.

What to put on the table

A large cheese pie is 8 slices at $19.49. Count people, plan two or three slices each, and divide by 8. The slice post is that math, and the 20-person post is the bigger version. Wings, garlic knots at $3.99, and mozzarella sticks are the food people eat during the first quarter. Heroes cover guests who do not want pizza. A hero platter for a crowd is on the hero catering page.

The specials page has NFL deals that bundle pies, wings, and knots at printed prices, and weekend deals that do the same with pasta trays. Those are the current flyers. They are not a Super Bowl-only menu, and they are not a coupon you stack. Order a deal as it is written if the bundle matches the party. Order pies and wings separately if it does not.

Trays when the group is past a few pies

A half tray serves 6–9 and a full tray serves 10–15. Baked ziti, chicken parm, and wings scale better than another box once the head count climbs. See catering. The catering special is its own bundle. It is food for a crowd. It is not a ticket to our dining room for the game. If you want people in the room, that is the parties page, and it is a call about the date. We do not publish a watch-party package.

Gluten-free guests need a plan before the game. A personal gluten-free cheese pizza is on the menu. Wings and knots are not the gluten-free plan. Say it when you order. The kitchen handles wheat.

Order early, eat at home

Order at Order Online, which is order.brooklynsfinestsi.com, or call (718) 815-7070. On an iPhone or iPad, the app sends the same menu. The address is 1250 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10305. Delivery is within 4 miles, and checkout confirms it. Pickup is the sure option for a big order. Put one name on the ticket so half the party is not at the counter.

Super Bowl party food from this shop is pies, wings, knots, heroes, and trays, picked up before we close. It is not a seat in front of a screen, and it is not a promise that this year's flyer will still be the flyer in February. Read the specials page the week of the game. Then order the food that matches the number of people in the room, and leave the broadcast to the television you already own.

Write the head count the day before. Pies at two or three slices each, using 8 slices a large. Wings and knots for the people who graze. A tray if you want a plate in the middle of the table. One person should be in charge of the pickup so six cars do not arrive for the same name. Give the shop a time that is before kickoff and before our close. If the game is on a Sunday, we close at 10:00 PM and we open at 10:30 AM. Order in the afternoon if the night will run long. Cold pizza at halftime is a better problem than a locked door.

Skip the bar order. We do not list beer. Bring whatever you drink at home, within the law, and let us handle the food. Tell us about a gluten-free guest before the pies are boxed. A personal gluten-free cheese pie can sit on the same ticket as the regular larges. Knots cannot. Wings are their own question. Ask. Then put the food on the table, keep it covered until people are ready, and reheat slices in a hot oven if the first quarter runs long. That is a party. It does not require our dining room, and it does not require us to stay open past the hour on the door. Count slices with eight to a large. Order wings and knots for grazing. Add a tray if you want a plate. Pick up before kickoff and before we close. Read the NFL flyer the week of the game, and order it only if the bundle matches. There is no screen and no beer list here. The food goes to your house. The game stays on your television. Call if the pickup time is tight. One name on the ticket. That is enough of a plan for a Sunday in February, or whenever the game is, as long as the kitchen is still open when you arrive.
